Innovative reuse with Rotor

A journey of innovative reuse through the renovation of the headquarters of Zinneke, a social and artistic organisation based in Brussels. In collaboration with Ouest Architects, Matriciel, and Rotor, they promoted the reuse of building materials, and the pilot succeeded in retaining more than 95% of the existing building (in mass) and substituting 15% of new inflowing materials for reclaimed ones.

Faye will delve into Salvo’s pioneering pilots from the FCRBE Interreg NWE project, which aims to increase reuse of reclaimed building materials by 50% by 2032. The discussion with Matthew will cover existing barriers, and construction’s opportunity in a reuse economy. #futuREuse
